Professor Paolo Quattrone was invited to present his research on rethinking the genealogy of accounting and calculative practices.

Paolo presented his paper Unfolding rationality: Visual memory, performative accounting and Order at the Calculating Capitalism conference, at the Heyman Center for the Humanities, Columbia ().

He also presented his paper Operationalising doubt: accounting, inventory and invention at the “Let’s calculate!” Workshop, organised by Bruno Latour at Science-Po Paris.

Both of these papers link in to Paolo's Human-Business at Edinburgh initiative.
