Mission Statement
The Finance Department of the Rapides Parish School Board ensures responsible allocation of resources and sound fiscal management. We collaboratively develop and manage budgets and maintain transparent financial reporting, while processing the procurement of materials, supplies, and services, payment to all vendors, and the payroll of all employees of the district. It is the responsibility for the department to ensure all transactions are in line with federal and state laws. We support the district's mission by optimizing financial practices and fostering accountability in all financial matters and are committed to integrity and innovation.
