Business School staff and students have raised more than £2,500 for the STV Children’s Appeal, by collectively cycling more than 1,000 miles around Scotland.

Jenny Britton took part in the charity’s 500 mile challenge, cycling from Ayr to Inverness, via Glasgow, Edinburgh, Dundee, Aberdeen and Banff in just six days.

Day two of the challenge saw Britton joined on the Pedal for Scotland Edinburgh to Glasgow leg by colleagues Arman Eshraghi, Georgina Jamieson, Jonathan MacBride, Peter Newcombe, Simon Harris, Winston Kwon with his son Elijah.

Executive 91´óÉñ candidate Carlos Silva Wilson and his sister also pitched in to complete the team.

The team’s efforts attracted more than £2,500 in , which will go to support the Appeal’s work to tackle child poverty in Scotland.

The latest round of fundraising comes as part of the School’s longstanding relationship with STV and the charity.

Group chief executive Rob Woodward accepted the donation during an event at the Business School this month. He said:
