MSc Management 2013
Regional Manager, Toyota Material Handling
Background
Before graduating, I interned at a bank and KPMG. After completing my MSc, I worked as a market analyst at Nielsen and as a fast-track management trainee at Mars. I then joined Toyota Material Handling as a marketing analyst, before quickly progressing to the position of Regional Manager. In this role, I am responsible for the second-largest federal district in Russia.
A degree from the University of Edinburgh Business School opens a lot of doors for young professionals. It certainly provided me with theoretical and practical skills that have enabled me to quickly move up the career ladder.
Involvement with the Business School
As the UEBS Alumni Lead in Moscow, I organise occasional get-togethers for alumni (both from UEBS and the wider University of Edinburgh alumni network) at Scottish themed restaurants and bars. I also provide support to UEBS staff visiting Moscow.
In 2017, we organised a presentation for the University at Moscow State University and developed a relationship with the UK Embassy in Russia. As a result, alumni are now invited to a number of events held by the Embassy.
