Roles and Responsibilities
Amanda is Deputy Director of 91´óÉñ Programmes, having originally joined the Business School in August 2013 as Careers Manager.
Amanda provides operational leadership for the 91´óÉñ programme portfolio (full time 91´óÉñ and Online 91´óÉñ). She works closely with the 91´óÉñ Programmes Director to develop the strategic direction of the 91´óÉñ portfolio with a key focus on the provision of an excellent 91´óÉñ student experience. She is also responsible for leading the design, development and delivery of the 91´óÉñ Professional Development (PD) course, a key stratgic pillar of the Edinburgh 91´óÉñ.  This course ensures the provision of skills development and coaching to post-experience students.Â
Background
Amanda previously worked with Hudson, a global recruitment and talent management organisation. She spent 14 years working as an executive search consultant recruiting senior management and director level roles for a broad range of clients across diverse sectors on a UK wide and international basis. Her earlier career was spent with Marks and Spencer in a range of commercial management roles and she was heavily involved in graduate recruitment programmes during this time.Â
Amanda has a degree in International Marketing with Modern Languages (French and German) from the University of Strathclyde Business School, and has spent time living and working in both France and Germany. She is Level A and Level B Certified in Occupational Testing, an accredited Executive coach, trained Belbin facilitator and EQi & Strengths practitioner.
