Learn Spanish
Learning Spanish is something that I have always wanted to do, but I often find excuses not to do it. Making changes to your routine can be difficult but I think it will turn out to be worth it in the end. Learning a new language not only gives you the chance to communicate with new people, but also gives you the opportunity to find out more about another country and its culture. Spanish is one of the most widely used languages in the world, and I love that Spanish-speaking countries have such an interesting culture. I hope that in the new year, I can keep learning Spanish and make visible progress.
Eat Healthy
Like many things, eating healthy is something we all aspire to but it can be difficult to achieve. As a master's student, my life can often be hectic and I don’t always have time to cook and sometimes I'm just not in the mood for eating something healthy. I know this is a big problem and I should try to do the right thing. Therefore, in the new year I will try to eat less junk food and have more fruit instead. I also hope to eat less meat and enjoy more vegetables, especially carrots. So, when I don’t have time for cooking, I will aim to eat more salads instead of pizza and instant food.
Read Books
I believe reading more is on many people's list of resolutions. Reading books is nothing but beneficial, but when you are busy with work or study, it is quite difficult to find the time. I suggest making a list of books that you want to read and making pragmatic reading plans. Trying to read a book every day won't work. Instead, why not try reading for half an hour a day, or committing yourself to twenty pages each day. Most importantly, reading should be fun and enjoyable and give you new ideas to think about. You don’t want to kill that and make it a boring task.
I believe many of us have so many things to accomplish this year, and it surely will be a wonderful year. I hope when you encounter challenges and difficulties in the process of achieving your resolutions, you can find the courage and motivation to hold on, because you will be glad of your achievements at the end of the year.
Good luck!
